FAQ and contact for Vertex Display and Vertex Host
FAQ
The host doesn't appear in the list
Make sure Vertex Host is installed and running on your Mac or Windows PC, and that it's on the same Wi-Fi as your device. On iPhone and iPad, go to Settings → Vertex Display and turn on "Local Network". If it still can't be found, use "Connect by IP address" and enter the address shown in the host's menu.
It says the PIN is wrong
The PIN is shown in the host's menu (the menu bar on Mac, the system tray on Windows). If you generated a new PIN on the host, enter the new one.
Can't connect over USB
Turn on "Connect via USB (Android, iPhone, iPad)" in the host's menu. iPhone and iPad need to be connected with a cable and you need to choose "Trust This Computer" (on Windows, the Apple Devices app is required). In the app, select the host, switch to "USB", and then connect.
Secondary monitor doesn't work
Secondary monitor mode works with the Mac and Windows hosts. On Windows, a virtual display driver (Virtual Display Driver) is required. Secondary monitor is a Pro feature that you can try free for 7 days.
Video stutters or lags
We recommend 5 GHz Wi-Fi or a USB cable connection. On iPad, lowering the Wi-Fi image quality under Settings → "Network & Audio" may help.
Pro isn't active after purchase
Go to Settings → Pro and tap "Restore Purchases". Pro is a one-time purchase and works on all your iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV devices with the same Apple ID.
Using it on Apple TV
Control the screen shown on your TV directly with your Mac or PC's mouse and keyboard. Use the Siri Remote for the menu (which screen to show, audio, and disconnect).
